About the Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a full time Administration Officer to cover the Bridgewater office reception with occasional time at our New Norfolk office. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about providing the best customer experience to our tenants and stakeholders. The Administration Officer will deliver represent the Loreto Community Housing in professional and collaborative manner, demonstrating the organisation's vision, purpose, and values at all times. You will deliver services in a culturally responsive and sensitive manner with high levels of confidentiality and discretion, showing consideration, concern, and respect for the feelings and ideas of other.
About you:
We are looking for a positive, engaging and inviting first point of contact for tenants and stakeholders who is also able to deliver a high standard of reception and customer service. You will have well-developed interpersonal skills including a proven ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people from different backgrounds and the ability to deal with conflict and challenging behaviours. You will have developed clerical and administrative skills and demonstrated proficiency in word processing, excel spreadsheets and database operations, providing a high level of administrative support across the Loreto Community Housing operations team.

Selection Criteria
1. Commitment to the vision, purpose and values of Loreto Community Housing and a broad understanding of the operation of the Catholic Church in Tasmania.
2. Demonstrated previous experience in a similar administration role is highly desirable.
3. Demonstrated building industry knowledge is highly desirable.
4. Demonstrated ability to work with information and data systems and an ability to maintain data and records appropriately – Microsoft Suite and Smartsheet.
5. Understanding of, and sensitivity to, the needs of people on low incomes or with complex needs – including the ability to maintain the strictest confidentiality.
6. Well-developed interpersonal skills including a proven ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people from different backgrounds and the ability to deal with conflict and challenging behaviours.
7. Demonstrated ability to work with information systems and to accurately input data and maintain records.
8. Demonstrated ability to exercise problem solving skills, initiative, judgement and discretion in recommending or deciding on actions according to legislation, policy, guidelines and circumstances.
9. Ability and willingness to undertake the relevant employee screening processes, including the provision of a National Police Criminal History Check satisfactory to the Archdiocese of Hobart and registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Tasmania).
10. Possession of a current unrestricted Drivers Licence.
