Job Responsibilities:

  • Examine and assess all food items to ensure premium quality in line with Aambra's culinary standards.
  • Monitor and regulate temperatures of ovens, grills, and all cooking equipment to maintain consistency and food safety.
  • Prepare and cook dishes with precision, reflecting the flavours, traditions, and modern rhythms of the Levant.
  • Season and adjust flavours throughout the cooking process to ensure every dish meets Aambra's signature taste profile.
  • Portion, plate, and garnish dishes with attention to detail, ensuring each plate is visually appealing and aligned with Aambra's presentation standards.
  • Store and handle ingredients properly within temperature-controlled environments to preserve freshness and quality.
  • Prepare meals for guests with special dietary requirements, ensuring both safety and flavour integrity.
  • Assist in menu planning and estimating food requirements, contributing to seasonal and signature offerings.
  • Train, guide, and support junior kitchen staff and apprentices, fostering excellence and teamwork in the kitchen.
