Salary: $68,000 - $75,000 + Superannuation

Our client "Mecure Wagga Wagga" is looking for an experienced and dynamic cook to join their growing kitchen team.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Cook all menu items to recipe specifications
  • Examine foodstuffs to ensure quality
  • Regulate temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment
  • Preparing and cooking food
  • Seasoning food during cooking
  • Correct recipe portioning of food, place it on plates and add gravies, sauces and garnishes
  • Storing food in temperature-controlled facilities
  • Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements
  • Maintain high standards and food handling practices
  • Be a team player
  • May plan menus and estimate food requirements
  • May train other kitchen staff and apprentices
