About the Role

ARTRAGE is looking to bring on a part-time, fixed term energetic, creative, driven and competitive Business Development Manager to join our team of 3 located in Perth City. Reporting to our Head of Development, your responsibilities will be:

  • Identify, pitch, and secure new corporate sponsorships, high-net-worth support, and funding opportunities aligned with the ARTRAGE's vision.
  • Research and map potential partners, lead tailored proposals, and set clear income targets with a focus on strong ROI.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing sponsors and investors to ensure long-term retention and uplift.
  • Support strategies to grow new income streams
  • Work with Marketing and Programming teams to align partnerships with audience engagement and social impact goals.
  • Assist in preparing funding proposals, managing reporting requirements and maintaining positive relationships with sponsors.
  • Represent ARTRAGE at key events
  • Maintain systems and provide regular performance updates to leadership

Skills and Experience

  • Proven success in business development, fundraising, sponsorship, or philanthropy roles.
  • Excellent communication and proposal writing skills.
  • Strong relationship-building skills across corporate, government, and philanthropic sectors.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to turn creative ideas into funded initiatives.
  • Knowledge of the arts, creative industries, or not-for-profit sector (highly desirable).
  • CRM/database management experience.
  • High level of initiative, organisation, and resilience.
