In this role, you'll be taking on a full-time permanent role within the day of operations rostering team.
As a rostering officer in a team of 20, you will be part of a team that is responsible for rostering for critical operational employees that help keep the NSW Trains rail network running.
As part of the rostering team, you will have responsibility for ensuring that changes to the roster are made in a timely and accurate manner, and maintaining fortnightly rosters ensuring leave, training, and other ad-hoc requirements are facilitated while balancing operational requirements.
You will also be responsible for organising shift coverage to ensure adequate staffing across a wide range of roles and operational responsibilities.

A natural collaborator, you bring strong stakeholder engagement skills and can communicate effectively with people at all levels — from frontline rail operations staff to senior leadership. Your communication style is clear, professional, and solution-focused.
