Yumaro is a registered charity and NDIS service provider offering Employment, Training, Lifestyle, Home, Community and Accommodation Support services to people living with a disability in the Eurobodalla and Shoalhaven regions. We employ over 200 people and we have supported hundreds of Australians living with a disability since 1985.

We are proud to provide both employment and supports in employment to people living with a disability. We operate over 10 different social enterprises to provide a wide range of employment and skill development opportunities.

Role Description

Yumaro are seeking a talented and organised rostering coordinator to join our community services team 4 to 5 days per week.  As a rostering coordinator you will play a crucial role in managing the scheduling and coordination of our workforce to ensure efficient and effective operations.  You will assist with:

  • providing support to the coordinators by filling roster positions
  • rostering based on staff/ participant matching guidelines and a good understanding of business needs
  • monitoring and tracking employee availability and coordinating changes
  • ensuring compliance with company policies, awards and NDIS rules that impact rostering decisions
  • utilising and maintaining the CMS rostering system as the key rostering tool
  • liase with coordinators to identify staffing needs and allocate resources accordingly
  • entering data accurately and efficiently into our database systems
  • communicating with employees and participants to provide schedule updates and address any scheduling issues or concerns
  • generating reports related to scheduling

What we seek

  • proven experience in rostering, scheduling or workforce management
  • strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • experience with rostering / CRM software and Excel
  • ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure
  • strong attention to detail, accuracy and problem solving skills
  • excellent time management and organisational skills

Location

We are open to the right candidate being based in either our Moruya or Ulladulla office.
