We're looking for a passionate and skilled Chef to join our dynamic team at Black Gold Café, a well-loved Richmond spot known for specialty coffee, modern brunch, and fresh, seasonal food.

About the role:

  • Prepare and execute our brunch and café menu to a high standard
  • Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure consistency and quality
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment
  • Assist with menu development and daily specials
  • Manage stock rotation, ordering and minimising waste

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience as a Chef in a café, bistro or casual dining environment
  • Strong knowledge of modern Australian café food and seasonal produce
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude
  • Flexibility to work weekends (our peak trade)
