Are you an experienced Speech Pathologist looking to step into a rewarding role with an existing caseload, a supportive team, and the potential for ongoing work?

Join Autism Advisory and Support Service (AASS) in a maternity leave cover position, and hit the ground running with immediate clients, full handover, and training provided.

About Us:

We are proud of our multidisciplinary team of dedicated professionals, our innovative approach, and our collaborative, vibrant culture.

At AASS, we understand that whilst life is a journey, everyone's road map is different. Our holistic model of care is built on empathy, teamwork, and turning challenges into opportunities for growth.

What we offer:

  • $116.39 per session plus travel.
  • Work-life balance – flexible 3 days/week (with option for more).
  • Diverse service delivery – clinic, individual, group, telehealth, and schools.
  • Full administrative and intake support – focus on therapy, not admin.
  • Access to internal training and professional development opportunities.
  • Free onsite parking.
  • Collaboration with a talented, close-knit team including Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Music and Art Therapists, and NDIS Support Coordinators.

About the Role:

  • Conduct assessments and deliver evidence-based speech therapy.
  • Work with children and young adults with Autism and other disabilities.
  • Support families through a strengths-based, collaborative approach.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on quality care and positive outcomes.
  • Be supported with a smooth transition via a structured handover and onboarding process.

About You:

  • Must have tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology.
  • Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Minimum 2 years post-grad experience, ideally with a paediatric caseload.
  • Experience supporting individuals with Autism and sensory needs.
  • Current driver licence and fully insured vehicle.
  • ABN, Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurances.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working With Children Check, and Provide CPR & First Aid Certification.
  • Team player with a "can-do" attitude and strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with diverse families.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and celebrating success.

If you thrive in a supportive and passionate team, and are committed to making a real difference, we would love to hear from you.
