**About the Role**:
We are seeking a creative and driven individual to assist with an exciting, fixed-term project to launch and manage a new YouTube channel for an advocate with lived experience of a disability. This role is perfect for someone looking to gain practical experience in digital content creation, video production, and social media strategy.

The project will focus on creating a series of videos over a defined period, highlighting Melbourne’s dynamic food scene. You will support the channel's host by organizing and coordinating interviews with local chefs, assisting with on-site filming, and handling all post-production tasks remotely, including editing and uploading videos to the channel.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Project Coordination**: Develop and maintain a content calendar for the project duration, coordinating interviews with local chefs, cooks, and restaurant owners.
- **Filming Support**: Assist with on-site filming, including setting up equipment, managing sound and lighting, and ensuring high-quality footage is captured.
- **Remote Video Editing**: Edit video content remotely, transforming raw footage into engaging, polished videos that align with the channel's objectives.
- **YouTube Channel Optimization**: Optimize videos for YouTube, including conducting keyword research, designing thumbnails, and crafting effective titles, descriptions, and tags.
- **Content Management**: Oversee the upload of videos to the YouTube channel, ensuring all content is properly formatted and organized.
- **Performance Monitoring**: Track and analyze video performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations for future content.

**Project Details**:

- **Duration**: The project will run over a set period, with specific milestones and deliverables to be achieved.
- **Compensation**: Fixed rate for the entire project, based on the scope of work and agreed deliverables.
- **Flexible Work Arrangement**: Combination of on-site filming in Melbourne and remote work for editing and content management.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- **Experience in Video Production**: Basic experience in filming, video editing, and post-production (knowledge of software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar is a plus).
- **Understanding of Digital Marketing**: Familiarity with YouTube and social media strategies, SEO, and audience engagement.
- **Strong Organizational and Time Management Skills**: Ability to handle multiple tasks, manage schedules, and meet project deadlines.
- **Creative and Collaborative Attitude**: A proactive thinker with a flair for storytelling and a collaborative approach to content creation.
- **Self-Motivated and Flexible**: Able to work independently, both on-site for filming and remotely for editing and content management.

**Why This Project is Perfect for You**:

- **Gain Real-World Experience**: Build valuable skills in content creation, digital marketing, and project management.
- **Expand Your Portfolio**: Work on a diverse range of content, from planning to production, and add impressive projects to your portfolio.
- **Make an Impact**: Contribute to a project that promotes inclusivity, accessibility, and diversity within Melbourne’s food culture.
- **Flexible Working Conditions**: Balance your existing commitments with a project-based role that offers a mix of on-site and remote work.

**About the Project**:
The YouTube channel aims to showcase Melbourne's food scene through interviews with local chefs, food reviews, and features on inclusive dining spaces. The host, with lived experience of a disability, will lead the interviews, bringing a fresh perspective to the content while fostering a community around food, diversity, and inclusivity.
