**The Organisation**
The Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) is the leading Australian professional accounting body representing over 20,000 public accountants Australia wide. IPA actively advocate for the interests of public accountants whilst also providing resources, networking opportunities and professional development.
**About the Role**:
As the Events & CPD Coordinator, you will be responsible for the coordination, administration, and delivery of IPA’s suite of continuous professional development (CPD) and events. You will work with various internal and external stakeholders and volunteers to organise and coordinate a range of events including the setup up of webinars and in person events.
The events range from both in-person and online events, including CPD Events, Webinars, Annual conferences, Member Engagement & Networking events.

You will be highly organise and have great attention to detail, you will have excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with the ability to think on your feet and get creative. This role would suit someone who has worked in a role where you need to be highly organised and work with lots of stakeholders to deliver an excellent service. You may have previous experience as a PA/ EA, administration, team coordinator, training and education or events.
Experience within a Member Association or similar role would be highly advantageous but not essential.
**Duties include but are not limited to**:
- Work in collaboration with the continuous professional development (CPD) team to organise, coordinate and execute all in-person and online events
- Liaise with training facilitators and guest speakers to introduce the event/ webinar and follow up with attendance reporting and feedback
- Oversee practicalities of events/ webinars such as processing of event registrations, greeting attendees, introduce presenters and manage all housekeeping aspects of online events being run.
**To be successful you will have**:
- Experience within administration, events, or customer facing/ coordination role
- Experience within a member association or similar role would be highly advantageous but not essential
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate confidently
- Outstanding organisational, time management and problem-solving skills
- Be digitally savvy and have a general understanding of tech and webinars eg. MS Suite, CRM systems, Zoom
- Be well presented, mature and professional as you will be dealing with a variety of members and stakeholders.
