Entertainment options are abound with live concerts, theatre performances, Events Centre gatherings, outdoor "Live on the Lawn" events, and world-class DJ sets at Atrium Bar. The Star Gold Coast is where relaxation seamlessly intertwines with thrilling entertainment.

As one of our Events Coordinators, you will work closely with our Event Planners to coordinate and execute events that showcase our venues' unique offerings. From intimate experiences to large-scale celebrations and conferences, you'll ensure every detail contributes to an unforgettable guest experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will take good care of both your colleagues and our guests.

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Assist the Event Planners with the coordination and smooth delivery of conferences and events
  • Financial account management for all events on the property, including handling deposit schedules and invoice issuing
  • Supporting the Event Planning Manager on event allocations of conferences for future business
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to retain Star clients
  • Produce and distribute floor plans and Banquet Event Orders in a timely manner

What we will be looking for:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to proactively work within a fast-paced environment
  • In depth knowledge of the Opera & Delphi
  • Previous experience within Events or Event Coordination
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Availability to work a full-time, Monday to Friday roster
