Key Account Manager

Davids Timber is an Australian owned timber producer and wholesaler, specialising in timber products for the outdoor market for over 30 years.
We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join our Sales Team.
Your primary responsibility will be to manage and develop relationships with key accounts and develop new business, in the outdoor timber market. Other key aspects of your role are;
- Account Management
- Business Development
- Territory Management _(key geographic areas will be Melbourne, Eastern suburbs, Gippsland, South Gippsland and Ballarat with monthly overnight stays)_
- Collaboration with internal teams and customers
- Sales Strategy and Execution
**To be considered for this position, the following requirements are necessary;**
- It is essential that you have knowledge of building and/or construction materials
- Previous experience and proven track record in an external sales role, selling to timber merchants, wholesalers and hardware stores is desirable
- Exceptional communication and professional presentation skills
- Skilled negotiation abilities and ability to manage customer expectations
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Motivated by team targets
- Ability to plan, forecast and grow sales
