We’re a leading player in environmental sustainability and the circular economy and we’ve just celebrated 40 years in Australia.
Together, we believe we can achieve a more sustainable future; a future in which waste is a resource.
**About the Role**:
We currently have an exciting new opportunity for an additional Key Account Manager to join our team and someone who has a commitment to safety and customer service.
This position will be based in Dandenong, and you will be assisting the existing Client Liaison Officers and Account Managers in managing waste, water and energy services at new and existing client sites.
**What you’ll be doing**
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage internal and external supplier arrangements and relationships
- Maintain customer relationships and manage customer requests and communication in a timely and informative manner
- Provide proactive waste solutions that contribute to achieving sustainability goals
- Ensure all client accounts / projects are profitable and deliver on their promised objectives
- Ensure that the business leads the waste sector in safety/environmental performance, and identifies and manages its key HSE risks; and
- Proactively manage unplanned emergencies
**Who you are**
**To be successful in this role, you will possess**:
- Several years’ experience in customer-focused roles, preferably in the waste, water or energy management industries
- Relevant formal qualifications are preferred, but not essential (e.g. Business Management, Environmental Management or Waste Management)
- Exceptional presentation / report preparation software skills - PowerPoint, Word, Excel
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage your own time and workload; and
- Flexibility - as hours of work may vary depending on business requirements and may require some interstate travel
**Reasons you’ll stay**
- **Autonomy**: You’ll have the resources and systems you need to be successful and the independence and autonomy to thrive.
- **The team**: Join an inclusive, supportive and collaborative culture where you are encouraged to help each other succeed and have fun at the same time
- **Work that matters**: Contribute to a more sustainable future. By ensuring the smooth running of administration within our site, you’ll be helping us to support businesses, the community and the environment.
- **Career opportunities**: We are growing and with growth comes opportunity. With visionary leadership and a supportive team, you will learn through osmosis and in turn will be on the path to further progression.
Are you with us? To apply:
- You’ll need a copy of a current license and proof of entitlement to work in Australia.
- You’ll undergo a police check and industry-standard pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol test.
