**The opportunity**:
Due to the continuous success of our Australian operations, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Manager / Executive to work on Queensland projects.

Working closely with the Pre-Contracts Commercial Executive - Project Delivery and Governance, you will play a pivotal role in the co-ordination of pre-contract activities on our major contracts as well as provide ongoing commercial support during the delivery phase of our large infrastructure design projects.

The role:

- To ensure the effective implementation of commercial and financial risk management procedures.
- To provide guidance and support to the technical and administration teams in relation to contractual, governance and commercial aspects.
- To provide guidance/understanding on the financial implications of bid/project decisions.
- To achieve high levels of collaboration and consistency in the commercial deliverables and performance of the business.

What we'll love about you:

- Background of experience working on large engineering infrastructure projects with a good understanding of the design perspective.
- Experienced in pre-contact negotiations for tender and delivery phase design services with large and small contractors with the ability to obtain a mutual beneficial commercial outcome.
- Experienced in commercial contract management including, monthly project profit and loss, variation claims, extensions of time claims, project delivery risk and opportunity as well as the ability to manage contractor claim responses.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a commercial role ideally coupled with at least 10 years practical experience working on the delivery of major infrastructure projects.
