Good step into Commercial Management
- Varied role to suit a generalist in a small agile team

The client are an Australian owned mining group with a an upcoming 75% expansion project. This newly created role is to support the CFO with Legal and Contracts primarily. This roles offers a great opportunity to an existing commercial manger or a legal counsel, or contracts specialists looking to move into Commercial Management.

Working as an interface between operations nd corporate you will:

- Support the CFO in ensuring commercial business objectives are met.
- Oversee the commercial delivery of mining contracts.
- Ensure current and future projects are profitable.
- Carry out commercial compliance reviews.
- Liaise with various internal stakeholders with regards to commercial management.
- Partner with finance team to deliver accurate financial reports.
- Play a senior role in the business and be a broad contributor.

Required skills and experience:

- Experience as a Legal and contracts specialist.
- Experience in contract formation, preferably in a construction. management environmen.t
- Experience om the negotiation, establishment and delivery of long term contracts.
- Demonstrated understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements as they relate to commercial contracts.
- The ability to design and implement policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

- Law, Accounting or Commerce.
- Qualifications in Company Secretary or Corporate Governance will be highly regarded.

This role is being offered as a hybrid working model based out of Brisbane CBD. Some travel to site will be required which is situated at a remote North QLD location.
