**About the Role**

The role of the HR Coordinator is to provide exceptional service to all staff and stakeholders.

Some of your duties will include:

- Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
- End-to-end recruitment (Posting job ads, shortlisting, conducting interviews, reference checking, selecting employees, issuing contracts, gathering documents, running inductions)
- Maintenance of employee records, ensuring compliance
- Conducts disciplinary action meetings, terminations, promotions, performance reviews, Work health & safety reviews
- Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
- Ensure that all employees receive training, instruction, and information to enable them to perform their work.
- Report to managing directors regularly and perform duties as assigned by them.
- Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
- Lead strategic recruitment, retention and growth campaigns.
- Keep accurate records of HR related matters within HR Core software.
- Respond to internal and external stakeholder enquiries with ease and efficiency
- Ad hoc administration as required
- Contribute to the implementation of efficiencies across the payroll function

**Who we are looking for**:
To be successful in the HR role we are looking for someone who has a bachelor’s in human resource management (or equivalent).

In addition, you must have the following:

- Knowledge of the SCHADS Award
- Team player with positive attitude and ability to multitask
- Excellent interpersonal skills including influencing, negotiation, consultation and people management.
- A can-do attitude and ability to display clear communication to internal and external stakeholders
- An understanding of legislative frameworks in relation to the National Employment Standards & Fair Work
- Proficient computer skills - Microsoft office, word, excel, outlook, teams, and adobe.
- Experience working in the disability sector in addition to knowledge and understanding of the NDIS Quality & Safeguards Framework (highly desirable)
- Excellent time management skills
- 2 years of experience in similar HR role
