**The Opportunity**

This part time opportunity is based at our Preston head office where you will contribute to supporting the HSEQ and People & Culture teams in training and development initiatives. You will assist with the design and implementation of the training needs analysis, role and accountabilities matrix and training plans, as well as provide administrative support for the HSEQ team and People & Culture training events and other activities.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing quality service, as well as being proactive and agile in their approach.

**What you'll be doing with us**:

- Assist with the design, development, and delivery of training needs analysis, role and accountabilities matrix and training plans.
- Track employee training progress, maintain accurate training records and a training matrix.
- Support managers and team members to identify suitable training and development goals.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to decipher employee training needs.
- Maintain a registry of employees and ensure completion of induction processes and training.
- Monitor and coordinate training, liaise with managers, employees and training providers and report on course completion rates.
- Undertake administration and reporting tasks as required to support the team, including ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- Work collaboratively with other departments towards a training, learning and development goals.
- Provide administrative support for training events and activities, including sending out invitations, managing attendance, and collecting signed training sheets.
- Evaluate training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with training requirements and regulations.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Knowledge of training need analysis design and evaluation principles
- 2+ years of experience in learning and development or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field (preferred)
- Familiarity with training delivery methods, including classroom, online, and blended learning
- Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements related to training
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and learning management systems
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Travel will be required to visit sites in Australia and New Zealand

Part-time hours: 30.4 per week

**Salary**: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
