**The opportunity**
Silverchain are seeking a
**Manager, Data and Analytics **to join the
**Data Analytics **team on a permanent full-time basis. This role has flexibility to be located from WA, SA, QLD, VIC or NSW.
This role will lead a team who are responsible for the implementation, maintenance and support of all data analytics and insights projects, data science and data visualisations. Working closely and collaboratively with key business users, this role will ensure that all data and analytics activities align with business priorities.
The role will lead the Data and Analytics team to provide high quality, robust and dependable data and reporting services.
**Key responsibilities**
The major accountabilities of this position are:
- Manage a team of data and reporting specialists through cross-skilling / up-skilling, career development and coaching to enable leaders to emerge in order to support evolving organisational and digital needs.
- Lead and support a team that is geographically dispersed and ensure that the team works together effectively, cohesively and harmoniously.
- Promote a culture of developing robust, secure and appropriate reporting designs and ensure these designs are implemented.
- Support the adoption of Agile frameworks, as well as leading/coaching the team on Lean and Agile practices.
- Support the growth of a data driven culture across Silverchain, increasing the maturity of data literacy and awareness.
- Expert communication skills and ability to influence leadership
**About you**
- Experienced leader with focus on coaching and mentoring cross functional team members.
- Strong Knowledge of Data Science is desirable.
- A deep understanding of the full lifecycle of developing reports, analytics and insights:
- Knowledge of relational database management systems to capture and utilise data.
- Knowledge of data science and other contemporary analytics techniques.
- Experience in leading engagements with senior stakeholders to develop actionable insights from disperse data and analysis.
- Experience in data visualisation technologies such as Power BI.
- Experience in the use of data profiling techniques to analyse data from source systems.
