**Who we are**

PointData is a South Australian born company focusing on predictive data and analytics in the residential property and planning space. We are changing the PropTech industry with new data and analytics and currently undergoing expansion to increase our capability throughout Australia.

**Role Scope**

PointData are creating new and bespoke data outputs which service broad industries including planning and development, financial and government sectors. You will be reporting into the Head of Planning and Delivery and will have strong links into the data team.

**Essential requirements**
- An understanding of urban planning, knowledge around principles and policies and a keen interest in expanding that knowledge
- The ability to understand and analyse data sets
- Working closely with other Planning and Delivery team members to interpret planning rules for use in our technology pipeline
- Demonstrated capability in Microsoft Excel creating formulated data models and data analytics
- Ability to work across teams

**Desirable requirements**
- Experience of working with a GIS or mapping visualisation tools
- Experience and knowledge of statistics for data purposes
- Understanding of the residential property market would be beneficial
- Experience of stakeholder management with external parties
- Knowledge of interstate planning and legislation would be advantageous
