**THE OPPORTUNITY**
As the Executive Assistant, your role is to proactively work alongside the General Manager, People, partnering to deliver effective and efficient organisation and administrative support. You will be working closely with the People Leadership team to coordinate and facilitate prioritisation of work, project delivery and to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the team.
We are National People team, working together to continue creating a great place to work, focused on a culture of care and encouragement. Your naturally proactive approach to synthesising and pivoting for priorities comes from your flexible and adaptive nature. You are comfortable being highly responsive to senior stakeholders and autonomously own the deliverables of the role.
This role will offer great learning opportunities across the People team and the whole organisation. Being comfortable with speed and change whilst having a strong commitment to compliance and governance will be critical for ongoing success
This will be a **full time, permanent** position based in the **Sydney CBD** office, with flexibility to work from home.
**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Deliver accurate, timely and responsive support to the General Manager
- Provide support across People projects and initiatives
- Support the General Manager with budgeting, expense and diary management
- Create and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, internal customers, and the management team by displaying our values and behaviours
- Participate and contribute to an effective, high performing team
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation and engagement across the team.
**YOUR EXPERIENCE & APPROACH**
- Demonstrated experience in a fast paced and high-volume Project Support or Executive Assistant role
- Passionate about the work of the People team
- High attention to detail and ability to keep up with multiple priorities and triage requests effectively
- Experience aligned to Business Administration, Human Resources or Legal looked upon favourably
- Ability to be proactive, intuitive and display high levels of emotional intelligence, trust and confidence
- Highly competent in the use of Microsoft Office Suite including intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft office suite, particularly PowerPoint and MS Planner
