**The role**
- Having recently opened Parramatta Light Rail we are looking for a Head of People and Culture to play a key role in supporting the Senior Leadership Team across both the Sydney and Parramatta networks. Reporting to the Managing Director this role has a significant part to play in supporting and delivering a high performing and engaged workforce that will include performance management, talent acquisition and succession planning. Leading a small team, you will provide day to day HR / work place relations advice including managing IR/ER issues and providing complex EA interpretation across the business. As part of the broader Transdev group this role will support HR compliance and reporting, aligning with group policies and legislative requirements.

**What you bring**
- In addition to relevant tertiary qualifications your background will include extensive experience in roles requiring a broad level of HR expertise (preferably in transport / high regulated industry). This will include strong (operational) ER/IR experience and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Regardless of industry, your previous experience will include working within unionised environments and leading / supporting EA discussions. Supporting our workforce will require both excellent communications and influencing skills as will the ability to engage with all stakeholders and employee groups.
