This is a great opportunity to be part of the world’s largest bulk export port authority, encompassing the operating ports of Ashburton, Dampier, Port Hedland and Varanus Island, and five future port sites. You will be responsible for the procurement and management of strategic procurement contracts and general contracts as required specifically in relation to the Lumsden Point Development Project, in compliance with all Pilbara Ports management systems, relevant legal and statutory requirements and contractual obligations. The Senior Procurement Specialist is also responsible for providing support and supervision within their specialisation stream.

Your demonstrated experience in the negotiations, management, and interpretation of material and operational contracts in an industrial and/or construction setting will contribute to your success in this role, as well as a clear understanding of strategic planning, supplier identification and qualification, tender management, cost analysis, budget control and logistics and inventory management. You will be the type of person who is a team player who enjoys helping others achieve organisational outcomes.
