Seeking a systems savvy Contract Specialist with a high attention to detail and strong commercial accumen

Our client has a requirement for an experienced Contracts Specialist. You will assist in best practice within the team and hold responsibility for the reviewing existing contracts and ensuring fit for purpose and also management of source to awarding of contracts.

**Responsibilities**:

- Management of contracts through to Award stage
- Manage creation, issue and negotiation of Service Orders
- Negotiate cost savings and terms & conditions of contracts
- Attend contractual meetings and assist with co-ordination of negotiations on contract variations
- Monitor implementation of contracts on an ongoing basis, ensuring that both contractors and site personnel comply with all contractual obligations

**Skills and Experience**:

- Proven experience in contract administration and management.
- Proven Negotiation skills
- Sound understanding of Australian contract law principals
- Ability to decipher and negotiate contractual clauses
- Ability to determine Technical requirements and verify those requirements are covered in the contractual documents.
- Demonstrated high proficient with ERP Software (SAP/Ariba and/or Coopers)
