**Your impact**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Brand Manager to join the Carlton Dry team, as the second largest beer brand within the CUB family (as big as VB). Your role will include rolling out an action-packed marketing plan with the ability to work across a wide range of marketing activity - building and executing strategy, producing core comms off a new creative platform, activating earned ideas in culturally relevant moments, building disruptive in store promotions, developing an innovation pipeline & partnering with some of the country’s biggest sponsorship properties (e.g. AFL, WAFL & LiveNation).
We have a big agenda on Carlton Dry and are looking for a motivated and energised marketer to help build on and deliver an exciting plan.
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Execute brand activity and communications per our 1YP plan and develop consumer strategy (including research and evaluation), and input to Creative development strategy and Media, Brand PR and Sponsorship strategy
- Manage Brand equity and health
- Develop and communicate sources of competitive advantage and clarity in target audience
- Identify issues, opportunities, objectives, strategies and action plans in the areas of packaging evolution, creative development, co-development of integrated communications, competitor understanding and sponsorship management & leverage
- Identify risks and issues and develop appropriate strategies to mitigate
- Drive accountability for successful event and experience execution, identify opportunities for vertical integration, lead agency briefing, liaise with sponsorship/event specialist (internal) and develop brief for creative agencies
- Manage the end-to-end development of advertising activities, take ownership of NPD project or broader campaign
- Attend Brand Review and provide support to Marketing Manager in reviewing plan/making recommendations
**About you**:
We are looking for a brand manager with 5 years of experience behind you. You’re an innovative brand manager and will push our team with ideas and help us continuously improve our brand’s position in the hearts and minds of consumers. Most importantly you enjoy a Carlton Dry
- Demonstrated understanding of market, consumer and shopper trends and influence on brand activation
- Experienced in defining research and agency briefs and management
- Competent in brand positioning and core creative development process
