**About the opportunity**

This is a Monday-to-Friday role working normal business hours, allowing for a great work-life balance.

As a Production Supervisor, reporting to the Production Manager, you'll play a critical role in managing production systems, ensuring cost efficiencies, and fostering continuous improvement. This role combines hands-on management of SAP variances, labour costs, and inventory processes with a focus on coaching and leading your team to achieve exceptional performance. Key Responsibilities:

- Manage labour (direct and indirect) and material costs, ensuring alignment with budgets and addressing variances effectively
- Monitor SAP variances daily, weekly, and monthly, reporting outcomes to Finance and Production teams
- Participate in IWS and CI initiatives, facilitating problem-solving sessions and driving operational excellence
- Oversee FIFO processes to optimize stock rotation and reduce waste risks
- Collaborate with Planning and Procurement to mitigate material availability risks, ensuring smooth operations
- Manage team performance, including recruitment, coaching, and adherence to HR policies
- Ensure adherence to food safety, quality standards, and health and safety protocols

**About you**
- Proficiency in SAP or KRONOS for variance reporting, requisitioning, and production planning. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Leadership abilities, A proven ability to inspire, motivate, and manage a team to achieve results
- Operational expertise, experience in managing production systems in a food manufacturing environment, with a focus on continuous improvement and waste reduction
- Problem-solving, strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to address challenges proactively and confidentially
