Our new facility in Truganina is equipped with cutting-edge machinery, and we are looking for a dedicated **Production Supervisor** to lead our team in this exciting phase of operation.

**Position Overview**:
As a Production Supervisor at Visy, you will be responsible for supervising and facilitating the day-to-day activities of the production team. You will play a key role in ensuring that our manufacturing processes are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with quality standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and facilitate daily shift activities for the production team.
- Lead and encourage team members to prioritize safety and improve work practices.
- Develop and implement safety procedures, supporting the Safety team in achieving departmental and plant goals.
- Ensure efficient allocation of people and resources to meet delivery requirements while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Monitor equipment calibration and ensure all systems function correctly.
- Communicate daily targets and responsibilities to team members.
- Monitor changeover and line setup efficiency, preparing setups for subsequent shifts.
- Facilitate continuous training and development of team members.
- Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Train operators on products and processes within the local team.
- Troubleshoot day-to-day machine issues and liaise with maintenance technicians.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Mechanical Engineering or trade qualification with a technical background in manufacturing or industrial settings
- Experience in production machinery maintenance and operation.
- Previous experience in leadership with experience in contractor management.
- Strong safety consciousness and commitment to best practices.
