**About The Role**:

NHP have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Supervisor / Electrical Supervisor, based in Laverton.

Reporting to the National Production Manager, the primary functions of this role are to coordinate daily production activities, provide leadership and guidance to a skilled electrical workshop team, support on continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a safe, efficient and effective operation.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Promoting and instilling a positive safety culture across the production facility and work cross functionally to review and implement safety initiatives and improvements
- Provide effective leadership and guidance across the production team to ensure a productive, positive and supportive work environment
- Ensure manufactured product meets the required standards and specifications
- Ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for production are met and appropriate actions implemented as and when required to maintain or improve performance
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure an exceptional customer experience and to support continuous improvement initiatives across the production environment

As Production Supervisor you will have a positive attitude and a strong desire to excel in your career. You will be reliable and respectful to all employees and provide clear and consistent communication to your team and management.

**Ideally you will have**:

- A positive and proactive safety mindset
- Previous experience leading a team of skilled tradespeople, preferably in a manufacturing or construction environment
- Strong technical aptitude with an ability to understand and interrupt specifications and technical drawings. An electrical engineering degree or electrical license would be an advantage
- Ability to provide options and solutions to project challenges to support positive operational and customer outcomes
- Excellent communication skills
- Continuous improvement experience
