**About the role**

This role is responsible for delivering productivity gains and the implementation of WCM practices through cross-functional process improvements, ensuring waste reduction, quality enhancement and sustainable alignment across items.

In this role you will:
**1. Process Improvement & Optimization**: Identify and implement process improvements using WCM practices to enhance efficiency, standardize operations, and reduce waste, aligning with strategic objectives.
**2. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support**: Work closely with cross-functional teams to collaboratively design and implement process improvements while ensuring alignment with supply chain and WCM goals.
**3. Continuous Improvement & Education**: Lead Kaizen, Lean, or WCM events, educate and support teams to transition to new processes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
**4. Tracking & Reporting Performance**: Establish KPIs to track the success of process improvements, conduct audits, and use root cause analysis to address issues and implement corrective actions.
**5. Documentation & Compliance**: Maintain accurate documentation of process changes, share best practices, and contribute to a Zero Harm environment while adhering to WHSE standards.

**This position is full time, permanent contract.**

**What you bring to the role**
- ; **Qualifications and Experience**: Tertiary qualifications in engineering plus ideally experience in production or maintenance.
- ;** Lean & Continuous Improvement**: Proficient in Lean principles, including 5S or other operational improvement methodologies.
- ; **Analytical Skills**: Strong ability to analyse complex processes, identify root causes and recommend effective solutions using qualitative and quantitative data.
- ; **Adaptability**: Able to adapt to evolving project needs and process changes using a continuous improvement mindset. Willingness to learn new techniques and methods.
- **; Collaboration & Influencing outcomes**: Able to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to influence and embed process change.
- ;** Advanced Manufacturing Systems Knowledge**: Knowledgeable of manufacturing systems such as Total Productive Maintenance and Overall Equipment Effectiveness.
