ActronAir is a leading Australian manufacturer of Air-conditioning equipment supplying both

residential and commercial products to the market. The company has been operating for

over 36 years with an enviable record for continuous growth.

**ABOUT THE ROLE...**

Our Continuous Improvement (CI) Lead will provide leadership and direction to drive the implementation of business excellence and process improvement principles across the business. The successful applicant will work with various teams providing the tools and techniques to drive a more efficient, effective and process driven organization.

You will be responsible for:

- Evaluating current processes, identifying opportunities and recommending strategies for improvement;
- Leading process improvement projects to meet business objectives and deliver results;
- Actively leading Kaizen events and other lean activities;
- Mentoring and training staff on lean principles and process;
- Working with the management team to identify and develop annual improvement plans in support of the strategic plan and business operating plan;
- Educating and coaching team members how to execute lean processes and techniques; and
- Coordinating follow up activities to drive accountability for completion of event commitments.

**ABOUT YOU...**

**To be successful in this role you will**:

- Demonstrate initiative and deliver on projects
- Think innovatively, with a willingness to try different options
- Have strong project management experience
- Have demonstrated knowledge in the practical implementation of operational excellence programs and cultural change
- Experience in TPM and 5S is a plus
- Demonstrate the ability to directly and indirectly influence change within the organization
- Have very well developed interpersonal skills
- Be a strong communicator (written and oral), with an ability to converse at all levels

**Relevant qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Operations, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or science preferred
- 5+ years’ work experience in process and / or continuous improvement in an operations environment
