Paid internships are offered on a full time, fixed term basis across** two streams**, an **Economics & Public Policy Stream** and an **Accounting & Finance Stream**,in the following areas: - The Economic Division provides advice on economic, regulatory, social and revenue policy. - The Budget & Finance Division provides advice on resource allocation and fiscal strategy. - The Commercial Division provides advice on the State's capital investments and commercial and transactional activities. - The Infrastructure Division provides advice on infrastructure projects throughout all phases of development and implementation. - The ESC is Victoria's independent regulator that promotes the long-term interests of Victorian consumers with respect to the price, quality, and reliability of essential services. **About the role**: As an intern at DTF or the ESC, you will be matched with a team in one of the above areas for 12 weeks between 1 December 2025 and 20 February 2026 (start and end dates can be negotiated). **Economics & Public Policy** interns will report to a Senior Economist or Senior Policy Analyst. **Accounting & Finance** interns will report to a Principal Analyst or Senior Analyst. Interns are not expected to have any practical work experience.
