Civil Engineer, Program Manager, Senior or Principal, Asset owner

Client is local government client based in CBD of Brisbane. As result of peak in the workload, they are looking to engage the services of an experienced Senior Project Manager / Programme manager to help lead and manage a number of civil / transport projects
**Your new role**
The team acts as an asset owner within the organisation. They are the 'client' and engage either the inhouse contractor or external main contractors to deliver Civil Capital works projects - majority roads (Traffic projects) and associated infrastructure. They are looking to engage an experienced Civil Engineer / Project manager to help manage the projects with a keen eye on finance, risk and schedule.The role looks after the projects from quite a high level so not involved in the project delivery details but looking at the information provided from the 'contractor' to deep dive the technical details / drawings / methods and to scrutinise processes to make decisions around asset and program outcomes.
**What you'll need to succeed**
While not 'boots on the ground' key to success of the role is an ability to properly drive program outcomes that are beneficial to the asset owner.
