**Your new company**
This iconic South Australian success story globally renowned for entertainment and events is seeking to appoint a Work, Health and Safety Business Partner. This role supports and drives a stringent safety culture throughout the organisation that also underpins the vision, mission and values to ensure service excellence, patron experience and continuous improvement.

**Your new role**
Reporting into the Manager of People and Culture, this is a sole Work Health and Safety Business Partner role within the organisation.
The purpose of this role is to support the business in the continuous improvement of WHS and implement initiatives to drive best practice risk management, specifically across the site that can consist of up to 1500 employees at any given day. You will work collaboratively with the site and project teams to provide technical & practical WHS advice and coaching to establish and maintain a safety culture focused on risk management, injury management and continual improvement.
Managing all things health, safety and risk related, you will provide specialist support and advice to management and the broader operations team.
As a leader, you have a key role to play in identifying, assessing and mitigating risk, while also reporting on safety. With the WHS and Risk Management Framework well established, you'll take the lead on ensuring compliance across the organisation. Motivating and influencing others to ensure safe and best practice.

**What you'll need to succeed**
Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or higher and certifications in First Aid and Return to Work Coordination are key qualifications to have to fulfil this role along with extensive experience in the management of incidents and hazards, including building effective WHS procedures.
You will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability communicate clearly with diverse and multicultural employee base, and be someone who is passionate about leading change by utilising initiative and innovative thinking. A high level of computer literacy and experience with WHS reporting programs and systems are also key skills that will be utilised daily.
