**About the role**:
Reporting to the National WHS Operations Manager, the position will form part of the WHSEQ team and will be based in head office at Dry Creek, SA however would be required to be mobile to attend various sites to help support the business. The role will provide continual improvement through mentoring in WHS functions and provide assistance to the WHSEQ Advisors and Operations Teams. The role will be required to assist and mentor in effective incident investigation, auditing of high-risk functions, and driving continual improvement to ensure compliance to the Company’s WHSEQ Management Systems.

**Responsibilities of the role will include, but is not limited to**:

- Attend site on a regular basis to ensure the McMahon Services Safety Program is effectively implemented and mentor WHSEQ Advisors in the successful implementation of the program
- Mentor and assist in incident investigation processes including assisting in investigations of serious incidents
- Assist in developing WHSEQ bulletins / lessons learned for sharing across all business units
- Attend toolbox meetings and encourage workforce feedback on WHSEQ matters
- Conduct drug and alcohol testing
- Assist in the facilitation of union visits with regards to safety matters on sites
- Assist in the implementation of Company WHSEQ processes
- Ensure project specific WHSEQ management plans are reviewed as required by project teams
- Assist project teams prepare for audits

**To be successful in the role, you will have;**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Certificate IV in WHS
- Certificate IV Training and Assessment
- Audit qualifications (desirable)
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office
- Good time management skills and ability to work independently
