The primary purpose of this role is to drive and execute strategies that enable the business to meet growth objectives, and support initiatives alongside the global Commercial Team. As a leader within the Commercial Office team, this role will be focused on providing leadership and direction in the development and implementation of best practice business strategies, commercial analysis, operational changes and business process initiatives to drive sustainable and consistent business practices that generate positive financial outcomes.
Some of the awesome things you’ll be involved with:
- Develop, execute and maintain key business strategies for Commercial.- Work with the Commercial Office Team to influence and execute strategies that will expand Iress Commercial activity, generate revenue and lead to sustainable, replicable business practices.- Drive the implementation of a global sales methodology and champion its integration into standard global work process and practice.- Provide strong and clear leadership and motivation to the Business Partnerships team, playing a key role in engaging, motivating and developing team members to support initiatives and priorities.- Continuously monitor and improve global CRM usage through active engagement with key stakeholders in relevant regions.- Develop frameworks and processes to improve consistency and quality of service provided to clients.- Alongside other members of the Commercial Office Team, work with support functions to develop consistent reporting and forecasting tools to enable teams to manage their sales processes, track performance and report precise information for consumption at all levels of the organisation.- Work with the Commercial Directors and regional Heads of Commercial and Finance to report against budgets, revenue targets and employee performance insights.- Provide insight and support to the Head of Commercial Office to enable them to consider operational and organisational efficiency and present structural recommendations to improve effectiveness across Commercial.- Plan, organise and manage the delivery of large scale programmes of activity (internal) across Commercial in order to exceed stakeholder expectations.
What you will bring:
- 5+ years proven project and stakeholder management experience- Demonstrated experience building and executing strategic frameworks- Strong understanding of the financial services industry- Demonstrates sound leadership capabilities- Deep working knowledge of Iress technology and how Iress solutions come together for clients across Wealth, Private Wealth, Financial Markets and Super. Broad understanding of client’s businesses around the same.- High levels of emotional intelligence and empathy and an outstanding ability to communicate verbally and in writing.- Leads and encourages change and works in a collaborative way.- Drives for outcomes and has the ability to lead and influence others to the best outcomes.- Ability to develop and implement strategic plans at a team and global level using the IDF fra- Demonstrates resourcefulness, creativity, flexibility and a relentless drive to ensure business success- Committed to driving a culture of continuous improvement- Demonstrate the ability to successfully influence senior management, executives and key clients- Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail- Excellent planning & prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage several projects concurrently- Ability to quickly assess complex issues and discern the key messages- Excellent written & verbal communication skills that build knowledge and confidence with stakeholders at all levels- Outstanding organisational skills to ensure tight deadlines are met both internally and externally across multiple tasks and stakeholders
