This job is all about collaboration, building relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand their challenges and then work with colleagues to shape a compelling, forward-thinking solution.

A strong background in business development, account management, or customer support is desired. This position demands an in-depth understanding of both the client’s business needs and challenges, along with the internal products available. You will have the ability to offer proactive solutions. This is a role that requires a high level of client attention and relationship building.

**Role responsibilities**
- Prepare detailed business plans to identify target markets, businesses and specific clients ensuring that these targets are in-line with Group strategy
- In conjunction with Sanderson colleagues understand what information we currently hold within the business and ensure this information is used effectively and where appropriate sensitively
- Gather leads and engage the wider client solutions team and consultancy teams to create solutions
- Become a trusted advisor with clients to understand their challenges and provide thought leadership on potential solutions
- Create and develop engaging, inspiring, and compelling bids, tenders and proposals
- Achieve agreed revenue growth targets
- Adopt a team approach; work with others in pursuing common goals
- Attend workshops, trade shows, networking events and seminars to keep up to date on changes/opportunities in relevant industries and markets
- Build relationships with new clients
- Build and manage “Friends and Family” senior stakeholder portfolio and track movements throughout current and future companies
- Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships, either through own activity or in conjunction with colleagues
- Identify opportunities that will lead to senior Group relationships & increased Group activity
- Present to, and consult with, mid, senior and Director level management on business trends or market intelligence

**Skills, knowledge and experience**
- Significant experience in professional client relationship management
- Experience of account development
- Excellent rapport building, questioning, listening, and negotiation skills
- Adept at profiling prospective companies for key stakeholders and decision makers
- The ability to plan and strategise at a senior level
- A persuasive and confident approach to creative projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to articulate ideas effectively to colleagues
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word with experience of using CRM systems
- Adept at using professional networking tools, such as LinkedIn
- Superb Consultative sales ability
- Confident attending meetings with both prospective and current clients
- Genuinely passionate about selling and researching new prospective clients
- Experience of managing accounts with multiple stakeholders and decision makers
- Adept at managing sometimes complex and long sales cycles
- Excellent client facing and presentation skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $100,204.49 - $120,529.44 per year
