**Head of Strategic Partnerships, Personal Banking**

The Personal Banking Strategic Partnerships team manages Personal Banking's relationships and ongoing engagement with the head offices of our lending distribution partners. This role spans home loans, car loans, novated leasing and business lending, and the brokers represented by these groups comprise the majority of new lending to Macquarie's Personal Banking business.

**What role will you play?**

Reporting to the COO of Personal Banking, you will be accountable for ensuring Personal Banking is engaging with the right partners, implementing the appropriate contractual arrangements and for setting and executing on the account plans with our partners. You will work with the Personal Banking Broker Sales leadership team to ensure an aligned and coordinated approach to market engagement whilst also ensuring commissions remain appropriate and that the calculation, payment processes and technology are effective.

As a leader you will be able to effectively communicate and drive change management and issue resolution with our partners and industry bodies and determine and arrange training and education commercial arrangements. You will have oversight tracking of personal banking view of market Share, including improving/expanding access to data and ensuring we are gaining insights to share with the Personal Banking Channel.

You will collaborate with a variety of teams across the ecosystem to ensure the voice of distribution partners is well represented on change initiatives, to deliver on partnership account plans and to resolve issues as and when they arise. Finally, as a member of the Personal Banking COO leadership team, you’ll actively champion the culture, both within the Strategic Partnerships team and via strong connections and relationships across the ecosystem

- Previous leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team, as well as prioritise initiatives and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Have a strong understanding of retail banking and the role of brokers in generating new business.
