**About the role**:
Reporting to the National Lubricants Supply Chain Manager, the Business Improvement Lead is primarily responsible for providing expertise in improvement methodologies across the Lubricants Value pool to deliver business benefits. This role will empower, lead, coach and a support to projects, training and BI process governance.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Ensure Operational Excellent (Safety, Health, Risk, Environment, Quality and community change) requirements are implemented effectively
- Challenge stakeholders to maximise opportunities from process improvement initiatives.
- Develop and improve BI training materials and library of business improvement tools and templates
- Utilise well-structured tools and methodologies (Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, Project Management) to prioritise, manage and deliver improvement projects.
- Document and monitor business processes, business standards, metrics and standing operating procedures.
- Ensure adherence to the recognised change management process throughout the delivery of projects
- Effectively manage relationships with stakeholders to build ownership and buy-in of improvement projects by encouraging and ensuring agile ceremonies are understood and taking place.
- Facilitate collaboration between Manufacturing teams in the delivery of improvement initiatives.

**About you**:
You are an open-minded change professional with demonstrated planning and coordinating skills, and well-developed organisational skills with the capacity to be flexible in balancing priorities to meet the needs of the business. You bring a personal commitment to ongoing learning and development and continuous improvement. Your excellent influencing and communication skills combined with your understanding of an operations environment enable you to thrive and drive positive business outcomes. Key stakeholders will be varied across our internal and external operations, and we are looking for someone who can foster relationships and put improvement truly at the heart of what we do.

**Key skills and experience**:

- Demonstrated experience in Project Management
- Stakeholder engagement and influencing within an operational environment
- Deep understanding of Lean Six sigma/Agile methodologies
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Innovative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience in business planning, strategy deployment and business improvement governance are desirable.
