About Ampol

Our company has always been about more than fuel. Fuel may be the foundation of our business, but our motivation and purpose come from the people, businesses, industries, and communities we engage with. From our origins until today, we've always been inspired by the role we can play in people's lives – to keep them moving, to make journeys happen. Here at Ampol, we are proud of our heritage as Australia's only owned fuel brand. For over 100 years we have supported Australians to travel far and wide, and we'll be here for 100 more powering better journeys for today and tomorrow

About the Role

Join one of Australia's leading operations as a Laboratory Team Leader at Lytton Lubricants. In this vital leadership role, you'll guide a skilled team of chemists to ensure safe, accurate, and timely laboratory services. Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement process improvements, contribute to audits, and support investigation of product-quality incidents.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to communicate results, trends, and technical advice that supports quality outcomes for our customers.

About you

You are a safety-conscious and technically capable professional with hands-on experience in laboratory operations. You're confident making decisions under pressure and managing competing priorities without compromising on quality. You communicate clearly, collaborate well across teams, and take a practical approach to problem-solving. Adaptable and improvement-focused, you look for better ways of working and follow through. You're ready to take the next step in leadership and bring a strong commitment to operational excellence.
