**About the role**:
The Despatch Team Lead will oversee a team of 3 across all Lytton Lubricants Despatch and DRP processes and systems, ensuring the appropriate framework exists for tasks to be performed consistently, efficiently with the best commercial outcome.

Reporting to the National Warehouse and Logistics Manager, the Team Lead will provide leadership and direction to build organisational capability and a positive culture through effective recruitment and retention of employees, identification of required skills and competencies, setting priorities and performance targets, and appropriate training and development programs.

Key responsibilities include:

- In coordination with the National Warehouse and Distribution Manager, implement the inclusive cultural program throughout the despatch team, with a focus on leading by example and empowering team members
- Actively promote and steward the concepts, tools and behaviours of the Loss Prevention System (LPS) system, Incident & Injury Free (IIF) principles, and Safe System Inspections (SSI), and ultimately accountable for chain of Responsibility (CoR)
- Actively engaging in cross functional meetings with production, purchasing, planning and logistics to ensure performance metrics relating to operational performance and customer expectations are met
- Actively promote and execute continuous improvement initiatives across all despatch operations.

Based at the Lytton Lubricants Factory in Brisbane, this role is critical to ensuring the safety of people and reliability of plant on our site.

**About you**:
You’ll ideally have 3-5 years of relevant experience in supply chain within a High Consequence or Hazardous Goods manufacturing plant.

You will have a successful track record of people leadership together with the ability to communicate professional (verbal and written) with internal and external stakeholders. You will also be commercially minded and have a strong focus on safety and customer service.

The ability to demonstrate strong knowledge of SAP, dispatch functions and Microsoft Office will be highly regarded.

Key skills and experience:

- Planning of stock movements between sites
- People leadership with ability to provide motivation, clear direction, empower and delegate
- Proven ability to manage and motivate people and stakeholders
- Understanding of supply chain and manufacturing in a similar industry
