**About the Role**
The Team Leader Community Support is responsible for the supervision and development of a team of approximately 40 Community Support Workers and plays a key role in workforce coordination to ensure effective use of resources and the delivery of high-quality services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide leadership to Community Support Workers and assist in the coordination of professional development activities
- Participate in continuous improvement work to ensure Community Support Workers feel connected, supported and informed
- Participate and lead a Community Support team in preparation for transition of services to the new Commonwealth ‘Support at Home’ Program
**Skills & Experience**
- Experience leading and supporting a remote workforce
- Working knowledge of issues and trends within aged and disability services
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams though change management processes
- Ability to develop solutions to continuously improve systems, work processes and practices in a collaborative manner
