**About the Role**
The Team Leader is responsible for management of aquatic programs and centre operations. Aquatic programs include the swim school, facility hire and general aquatic usage. The position oversees the Duty Managers, along with supporting the Lifeguard & Swim Instructor teams.
- Support and oversee the day to day operations of the Reservoir Leisure Centre (RLC). Ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for all of Darebin’s community to utilise.
- Ensure centre and all staff comply by all health department, Guidelines for Safe Pool Operations, other relevant legislation. - Responsible to ensure policies and procedures are always adhered to and any issues reported are appropriately managed; assist Centre Coordinator to investigate incidents.
- Oversee operational budgets for staffing, equipment, maintenance and aquatic revenues are operating within the budget parameters.
- Responsible for the daily facility presentation and cleanliness. - Management of contractors performing works on site, along with contract administration from procurement to ongoing management.

**Skills & Experience**
- Relevant experience in managing and driving aquatic programs, including swim schools.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the leisure and aquatic industry.
- Knowledge of the relevant aquatic industry codes and regulation including Guidelines to Safe Pool Operations.
- Strong leadership experience with an ability to inspire others - Knowledge and experience of Aquatic Operations of Swim Schools and membership for public leisure facilities
- Current Pool Lifeguard and First Aid Certificate
- Current Pool Operations Certificate (preferred) and/or multiple years’ experience in management of pool plant operations
