**About the Role**
The Creative Culture & Economic Development Department is united by the purpose to connect communities for creativity and prosperity.

Lead a team of 7 to promote, facilitate and deliver community venue for hire at the Preston City and Shire Halls, while also delivering exceptional civic support services for Council at the Preston Municipal Offices.
- Lead and motivate a team in a dynamic environment
- Deliver excellent and continuously improving venue operations systems
- Prepare and manage operating budgets in line with organisational goals
- Maintain safe and welcoming public venues and staff spaces
- Develop and maintain operational systems, processes and procedures

**Skills & Experience**
- Tertiary qualifications in a related field and/or extensive demonstrated experience in venue management
- Experience managing public buildings in a Local Government context
- Experience leading high performing teams within a service delivery context
- Demonstrated experience working with budgeting and financial procedures
- A current Working with Children Check Card
