**THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**
Desktop Support position where you'll provide mainly L2/3 Desktop Support to internal users - both in-person and remotely.
You will also be involved in lots of 'value add' IT infrastructure projects.
There is a clear career path towards a System Administrator over time.
- Responsibilities include:
- Provide technical support & troubleshooting across desktop hardware/software, mobility, WiFi, network connectivity etc.
- Set up & configure workstations, laptops, and peripherals.
- Systems maintenance & patching.
- Manage backup solutions.
- Involvement in IT procurement.
- Ensure up-to-date documentation in the ITSM tool.
- Optimize and improve processes - e.g. user onboarding/offboarding.- Assist with L1 Support when needed.
- Infrastructure project delivery - cloud migrations, hardware/software upgrades, storage/backup optimisation, hardware rollouts etc.
**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / BACKGROUND / KNOWLEDGE / PERSONAL QUALITIES**
Suitable for a Desktop Support professional experienced providing face-to-face support to end-users in fast-paced environments.
Ideal for a customer-service champion who enjoys taking ownership and is looking for broad role with a clear career path.
**Required**:
- Proven experience providing in-person IT Support to end-user across desktop hardware/software.
- Competent support skills across Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, Windows Server, M365 etc.
- Experience owning the delivery of IT projects is beneficial.
- Display a genuine interest (and ability) to provide exceptional customer service.
- Demonstrate logical technical troubleshooting & problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal & written).
- Strong sense of ownership & accountability.
- Proactive self-starter who can take the initiative and is hungry to learn, expand their knowledge, and take on more responsibilities to grow their career.
- Friendly with a good sense of humour.
**This is a full-time permanent** role (hybrid working) offering circa $75,000 - $90,000 (plus super) - depending on experience.**
