**The Role**
The APS 6 Strategic Communications Officer has a very important role with a focus on communications and engagement to support the transformation program.
You will also undertake a range of responsibilities, including the ongoing update and implementation of the Training Force Communications Strategy, promotional and engagement coordination and activities at various conferences, drafting communications including inter-departmental messaging, and internal and external media.
**About our Team**
Reporting into the EL 2, Director of Communications and Change, you will work in a small team within the Training Force Headquarters located in Campbell Park Offices.
Your stakeholders will include the Training Force Transformation Project Management Office, our geographically dispersed Training Authorities (schools), Training Force Leadership, as well as broader Navy Communications Teams to ensure our communications are aligned.
You will also work closely with the Technical Training Support Unit who produce content to support the delivery of training, and the production of promotional tools/material for Training Force.
Your ability to be creative, write and develop content that engages a broad spectrum of people will be key to your success, as well as the ability to effectively engage with members of the organisation at all levels.
