**The Role**
This position is part of a growing business and support team that is responsible for ongoing stakeholder engagement and a range of supporting functions for the Requirements of both the current fleet and future needs. The Enterprise and Liaison Officer has an important role in developing and maintaining a range of strategic relationships with industry and across Defence.
This is an important liaison role required to provide representation for the branch at meetings, forums and working in collaboration with counter partners to deliver quality maintenance requirements outcomes.
Your well-developed stakeholder engagement and communication skills will be key attributes in identifying risks, understanding capabilities and associated outcomes for Navy Maintenance Requirements Branch. In this role you will:
- Work alongside Navy stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives and constraints.
- Identify risks and issues of concern in the delivery of maintenance in the Navy.
**About our Team**
The team provides direct support to the Assistant Secretary by building the initial foundations for the branch establishment to over time, transform into a well skilled and diverse workforce who is responsible for developing and implementing Navy’s sovereign maintenance requirements and assurance functions for all current and future platforms and systems.
The team will be dedicated to continuous improvement and delivering high quality outcomes. Collectively we rely on each other’s knowledge and strengths to achieve the result.
You will be someone that can cultivate productive relationships, deliver quality outputs and achieve results within defined timeframes. You will have the ability to build relationships within a diverse workforce and have proven liaison skills. You will have well-developed written and verbal
communication skills and be comfortable engaging with a range of stakeholders as stakeholder engagement and negotiation is critical to successful objectives. You will be a team player and be adaptable, supportive and considerate with all staff.
