Docklands, Australia Medibank Full time

**Will you actively create a healthier future for tomorrow?**

At Medibank and ahm we’re encouraged to think big. We have a clear purpose to impact better health outcomes for our customers, patients and our community.

We celebrate diversity of thought because we want to make better decisions for our customers. As we work towards our goal of better health for better lives, we value the knowledge and contribution of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. We are working hard to create an inclusive workplace and develop Indigenous careers.

**Enterprise Digital**

We are building an expert team to deliver best in class solutions for our customers. Our mission is to “_Create delightful experiences that help our customers achieve better health_”.

**The Opportunity**

We’re looking for an incredible human to join the Digital Product Team on a full-time, permanent basis.

As a Digital Product Manager, Growth & Engagement, you will be responsible for defining, prioritising, and managing the team-level backlog of features and enablers for Medibank’s public-facing websites to drive commercial and customer outcomes in line with the broader company vision, strategic objectives and OKRs.

You will act as the domain expert within the team and will be responsible for building deep domain knowledge of the business, customer, and channel performance, working in partnership with the broader Digital Product Team and leads from engineering, design, and the business to ensure their roadmap is customer centred.

**Your impact**
- Accountability for the commercial performance of Medibank’s public websites, including key online sales journeys, conversion rate optimisation, customer engagement/satisfaction and user experience.
- Defining team-level user stories/features/enablers in collaboration with design, engineering, and business SMEs. This includes breaking down features into detailed use cases, evaluating value vs effort, facilitating ideation and customer validation activities as required.
- Managing product backlog, including on-going prioritisation, and grooming to ensure a balanced mix of discovery activities, design and delivery-ready work is maintained at all times.
- Proactively engaging with design, engineering, marketing, and other business stakeholders to ensure digital content and experience solutions are clearly communicated.
- Leading with a growth mindset to cultivate a culture of trust, transparency and customer-centricity across your team/s and the wider business.

**So, who is this incredible human?**

You will have a minimum of 3+ years’ experience working as a Digital Product Manager within a cross-functional, agile delivery team. You have proven experience in digital product discovery, design, delivery, and optimisation techniques; including opportunity sizing, ideation and MVP definition, customer testing/validation and backlog management. Key to your success in this role will be your ability to manage and maintain strong relationships with key members of the digital production stakeholder group and the broader Medibank business.

**Must have skills**
- Demonstrated ability leading digital product strategy, including discovery and delivery with a cross-functional team (UX, Design, BA, and Developers) from high-level feature definition through to execution and go to market.
- Creative and analytical problem-solving skills and a curiosity to learn, including the ability to uncover and understand technology requirements and capabilities.
- Understanding of technical platforms and principles, with a demonstrated ability of working closely with solution architects, technical business analysts and developers to uncover, understand and shape technology requirements and capabilities as part of product definition.
- Exceptional people leadership, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on being able to clearly articulate product decisions.

**A career with us**

We believe work is something we do, not somewhere we go. Our modes of working - Collaboration, Connection and Concentration - help inform how your day is structured and where you choose to work will vary, depending on your role and requirements.

We offer a range of great benefits such as subsidised private health insurance, rewards and discounts, and health and wellbeing initiatives. To find out more, click here.
