About the role:

The Digital Product Owner plays a critical role in shaping and optimizing the customer experience across our digital channels. This role is responsible for co-developing the strategy and roadmap, driving the delivery of key features, and ensuring that digital initiatives meet both customer and business objectives. As a vital link between business and technology teams, the Digital Product Owner leverages strong communication, collaboration, and agile methodologies to swiftly address issues that affect customer experience or product goals, ultimately maximizing digital engagement and value.

What you’ll be doing:
- Own and shape the vision and roadmap for your domain, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.- Investigate new digital capabilities and product ideas that enhance customer experience and drive business success.- Work closely with user experience and customer journey teams to design, prototype, develop, and test innovative product features.- Take charge of the entire shaping process, from defining requirements and scope to managing risks and dependencies.- Prioritise and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that development teams always have well-defined work ready for execution.- Actively research customer, industry, and technology trends to continually enhance your capabilities as a product owner.

About you:
- Previous demonstrated experience in a Product Ownership role- Extensive experience working in an Agile digital environment.- Ability to assess value and make product decisions that maximise the return on investment.- Ability to effectively communicate a product vision to key stakeholders and teams.- Solid understanding of digital analytics to understand customer behaviour and make data-driven decisions.- A working knowledge of the Utilities industry and energy markets would be advantageous but is not essential.
