**Your new role**
- Installing and configuring servers
- Setting-up and deploying hardware
- Training new staff on use of hardware, software and remote access
- Overseeing all networks within and between business sites ensuring they are functioning effectively
- Maintaining and keeping an IT Asset register
- Providing advice on how to optimise performance
- Coordinating software licensing
- Threat protection
- Back-up/disaster recovery
- Data protection
- Overseeing telephony systems

**What you'll need to succeed**
This is a complex and diverse role and therefore the following experience is necessary to be successful in the position:

- Previous helpdesk support experience
- Experience with Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite 2010 and Office 365
- Experience with Active Directory and Exchange
- Experience with VOIP telephony systems
- Remote desktop support
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
- Ability to work under mínimal supervision
