**About the role**
As the Manager, Cancer Information, you will be responsible for managing the development, review and distribution of Cancer Support and Information (CSI) publications, resources, education programs and service database processes.
You will be responsible for ensuring that we provide Queenslanders with a trusted source of up-to-date information and education about reducing their risk of cancer, living with cancer and living well after cancer.
This role is a Permanent Part-Time (30 hours per week).
**About you**
To be successful in this role, you will have proven leadership skills, be able to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, manage and monitor budgets and be skilled in the development and maintenance of information, resources and publications. You will also be able to contribute to the development and evaluation of an information strategy to support Queenslanders living with cancer and increase community awareness of prevention, early detection and healthy lifestyle choices.
**Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills**
**Essential Skills**:
- Qualifications in health, health promotion, education, publishing or community development or relevant experience.
- Experience with program management, including process documentation and evaluation
- An ability to manage and expand existing networks while identifying and establishing new opportunities.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of the community.
- Proven ability to organise, manage and prioritise multiple tasks.
- Proven ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Well-developed administration skills, including intermediate computer skills.
- An understanding of the impact that the diagnosis and treatment of cancer has on individuals, their partners and families.
- Current Queensland Driver’s Licence is required.
**Desirable Skills**:
- Experience in the planning, provision and evaluation of education and training programs.
**Your Leadership Contribution**
