**About the role**
The Operations Business Manager will be responsible for working closely with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Operations Officer (COO) to support the Executive and Operations Groups' efficient and professional operations across a range of portfolios.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Running business processes to support the CEO and COO alongside the Operational Heads of Department.
- Supporting all Heads of Department in the Operations Group on cross-functional business management.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the CEO and COO.
- Preparing agendas, proposals, board papers and briefing papers on behalf of the CEO and COO.
- Provide business management, diary management, administrative support and manage travel arrangements for the CEO and COO.
- Other duties as required by the CEO and COO.
This role is Permanent Full-time (37.5 hours/week) based in Cancer Council Queensland’s Brisbane office.
**About you**
- Experience as Business or Practice Manager or Chief of Staff.
- Demonstrated ability to provide senior executive support and, in doing so, perform duties under mínimal direction and with limited supervision.
- Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly in relation to communicating with a diverse range of stakeholders and preparing Board and Executive papers.
- Demonstrated ability to flexibly adjust to a broad range of competing priorities without compromising on service delivery and maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- High-level organisational skills to coordinate and manage projects together with a demonstrated ability to maintain systems to support planning and decision-making.
- Proven high-level ability to demonstrate initiative and to work autonomously and effectively as a member of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to use MS Office products such as PowerPoint, excel, word and other office management systems at an advanced level.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare Board Papers that engage the audience and present issues in a clear, convincing and coherent manner.
